Jessi Schwarz, CNM, MSN, MBA

Jessi is delighted to be joining Lifecycle WomanCare where she was a midwifery student, many years ago. She earned her BA from Barnard College, her BSN and MSN from the University of Pennsylvania, and MBA from Yale University.

She has practiced clinically as a midwife since 2003, most recently at CHOP where she was the Lead Midwife in the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment and Special Delivery Unit. Her professional experience also includes healthcare consulting with a focus on quality improvement, value-based payment, and EHR optimization. She is the founder, past President and current Vice President of the Philly Metro Midwives, the Philadelphia chapter of the PA ACNM affiliate. She serves on the board of the PA affiliate and is a member of the affiliate legislative committee.

She has published and presented on the topics of group prenatal and postnatal care, the role of midwives in team-based care, and building professional resilience. She is a mother of four kids and her household also includes two dogs and two cats. She is a fan of potlucks, craft circles, fruit pies, trashy fiction, podcasts, long distance running, and teatime.
