Autumn Nelson, CNM

Autumn has been part of the Lifecycle team since 2014. She decided to pursue this career path because she believes in the midwifery model of care and in educating and empowering clients while helping them navigate their health needs.

Prior to Lifecycle, Autumn worked at a practice in Hawaii called Home Birth Kauai (now called Hua Moon Women’s Health), followed by a birth center in Lancaster called Birth Care and Family Health Services. She completed her nursing and midwifery education at the University of Pennsylvania.

Her favorite thing about Lifecycle is the staff. As Autumn notes, “our staff is like family; there is a lot of love and support that goes on behind the scenes.”

Outside of work, Autumn serves on the board for the Philadelphia Midwife Collective. She likes to spend time outside walking, hiking, or running. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her family.
