Carlo’s Exciting December Arrival
I gave birth to all three of my kids (Sergio, Gianna, and Carlo) at Lifecycle WomanCare. Today we celebrate Carlo’s first birthday. It’s hard to forget his birth. When I called around 3am, midwife Sarah wasn’t convinced I was ready and she wanted me to know they were full except for the living room; she didn’t want me to be disappointed if I got sent home. We got in motion to leave and on the way full on contractions picked up quickly. We got to LWC at 4:30am and by 4:45am we welcomed Carlo Joseph in the living room! I remember Sarah saying “next time I won’t doubt you!”
It was ironic because I was at LWC for my check up the day before. Carlo was born 6 days before his due date, just like his older brother. They were also very close to the same size – Carlo was only 3ozs bigger at 7lbs 5ozs.
The year has gone so quickly and I miss seeing all the friendly and familiar faces of everyone working at Lifecycle WomanCare ! I wouldn’t have had it any other way. We were so fortunate to have had three very healthy babies born there.
