Our inaugural breakfast panel symposium, The State of Women’s Health (#SWH2015), was a tremendous success! Over 250 individuals gathered to engage in this dynamic discussion at The Union League on June 10th, representing the spectrum of stakeholders in women’s healthcare: policy-makers, nonprofit leaders, medical providers, hospital administrators, advocates, students, and more. The room was abuzz with excitement and anticipation for our panelist dialogue and to hear our keynote speaker, PA Physician General Dr. Rachel Levine, who had been unanimously confirmed the very night before! From our expert panelists, to the live-polling platform that allowed for audience participation in real-time, to the pertinent topics addressed during the program – this was a dynamic, engaging event that certainly set a precedent for the future.
Here at Lifecycle WomanCare, we are committed to harnessing the power & poignancy of the morning’s program. This is not meant to merely be a one-time event, but an ongoing conversation – the beginning of collaboration across sectors – to truly enact change for women and healthcare. So stay tuned! Or, if you’re just learning about The State of Women’s Health, get involved! We look forward to working with you, and to hosting #SWH2016 next year!
