Our Lactation Department is Hotter Than Ever, and We Need Your Help

Help us raise $10,000 for Lifecycle WomanCare’s Lactation Department!

Breastfeeding support has been a vital part of LWC’s continuum of care since our inception in 1978. More recently, our lactation department has been experiencing unprecedented growth. Since 2018, we:

-Welcomed 3 new IBCLCs to our team.
-Opened a milk depot for the Mid-Atlantic Mother’s Milk Bank.
-Expanded our schedule to include lactation appointments Monday through Friday.
-Began offering consultations and classes to the general public (i.e. families who did not use LWC for their maternity care). In fact, we added 9 new Focus on Breastfeeding Classes to our schedule in order to accommodate a community need.
-Began offering lactation visits in our South Philly satellite office.
-Started a brand new breastfeeding support group in South Philly that is already thriving!

Meanwhile, our support groups in Rosemont, West Philly, and Phoenixville continue to thrive, and our prenatal lactation education remains a key component of our hallmark childbirth education series.

All of this is truly something to celebrate, but…

Growth = growing pains. We need your help! Please consider making a donation in support of Lifecycle WomanCare’s lactation services.

Funds raised will be used for a much-needed upgrade to the well-loved, and well-worn furniture in our lactation suites and provide our dedicated IBCLCs the opportunity to advance their skills with continuing education at the 2020 International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA) Conference in Houston.

Of course, the main benefactor of your donations will be our clients. Our steadfast goal is to provide a welcoming space and to provide the best care possible for every family that walks through our doors.
