Midwife Fellow

Taylor Jaaska, CNM, WHNP

Taylor began her midwifery fellowship with Lifecycle in February of 2025.

Taylor grew up in Michigan and earned her BSN from the University of Michigan in 2018. She spent five years as a Neonatal ICU Nurse in Chicago and Denver, where she witnessed the resilience of newborns and their families. She felt called to midwifery, wanting to support folks not only during pregnancy and birth but throughout their entire lives. That led her to Philadelphia, where she completed her Certified Nurse Midwifery and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner education at the University of Pennsylvania. During her time as a student midwife at Lifecycle, she knew she had found her home!

Taylor recognizes that pregnancy, birth, and reproductive health are deeply personal experiences, and considers it an honor to walk alongside her clients during these transformative moments. She brings a trauma-informed approach, rooted in shared decision-making, compassion, and a commitment to respecting individual autonomy.

Outside of practicing midwifery, you can find Taylor camping with her partner and their dog, Figgy, furiously knitting, oil painting, or baking sweet and savory treats alike. She is thrilled to be part of such a passionate, community-driven team here at Lifecycle!
